This is a song off The Streets first album called Original Pirate Material. Pirate Material blew up a few years ago and rocketed Mike Skinner to the top of everyone’s buzz list. Since then it seems that his production may have dropped off a bit, but I don’t think he’s going anywhere for quite some time. This was a serious hit for the British hip hop scene and caught enough interest to get people like Ghostface Killah from Wu-Tang Clan to collaborate with this bloke. Push Things Forward is an example of how promising underground hip hop can be and epitomizes what we try to emphasize here at Najahead. A refreshing breakaway from the same old standards for the betterment of art and life is exactly what we are trying to highlight.
