This is an older video by Barbara Morgenstern who makes the German language seem quite beautiful on this song. My German is not what it used to be, so I do feel a little strange posting a song without any real idea of what the subject matter may be. She may not be Nina Hagen, but she’s certainly got talent. She may need to sing in English more to attract a larger audience. Funny, David Hasselhoff had to sing in German more to attract a larger audience. That’s not even his first language. There should probably be a rule to exclude mention of him when reviewing other Germans’ music. Sorry!
