Rarely is the influence of American hip hop as eveident in raggae dancehall as it is here. Daara J makes a dancehall jam that doesn’t alienate American audiences. The truth is that I have very little experience to help me relate to Jamaican dancehall. It doesn’t mean I don’t like it or appreciate it. Daara J just has a way of putting together a good song that can appeal to all. Well done!
