This song has that essential emotional release that makes r&b so powerful. When I used to work at a record store, we’d spend Sunday mornings cherishing the testimonials of the great Reverend Al Green. The irony is that through the expression of heart ache, we find the strength to continue on with the understanding that others share in the same struggle as ourselves. I’ve got a feeling I will be enjoying this song for a very long time.
