My first instinct was to think, “Another band trying to rehash the 80′s”. But as I paused and the song continued to churn forward, it hit me just how good this is. It could be played right in an 80′s night set-list and probably would not be called out as something new by the untrained ear. How you would get caught is when they come up to the DJ and want to know who it is so they can go buy it because it’s radical…totally! The fact is it belongs right along the 80′s classics, this is contagious genius, and the style of that era that I will always love. Can’t wait to cruise to this one! I like to think that those were simpler times, and I know I’m fortunate to remember them as such. Cheers to that!
