Toddla T takes a trip through the Jamaican streets in this video and in this song. Meshing dubstep with some supreme Jamaican lyricism is a recipe that is truly delicious when done right like it is here!
The Smiths are the original Emo supergroup. Nobody embodies that genre more than Johnny Marr and Morrissey who carved out a music revolution in British pop.
The Fall craft some very creative punk rock ‘n’ roll the way it was meant to be done! This is inspired by our modern addiction to medicine that has led to addiction for so many, as well as society’s acceptance of the idea that happiness can be found in a bottle of little pills.

This sounds like the kind of music aliens probably cruised to in the early 80′s. This is synthesizer chillout with a retro vibe, flipping the name of everybody’s favorite 80′s Scientology star who is still somehow significantly wierder than this music. Enjoy throwing this in the tape deck of your space cadillac before your next intergalactic road trip!
Music video by Nirvana performing Smells Like Teen Spirit. (C) 1991 Geffen Records
Is it too soon? I know this is probably the most played out song and video of all-time, and I too rejected it for the better part of two decades. But really, it is a great song and video. It transformed the direction that popular music was heading forever and put an end to the dreadful hair band years. True Nirvana fans would eventually loathe it’s existence for the fact that people that weren’t true fans could only name this single hit. The time for shunning this gem has surely passed, it truly is the anthem of a generation, my generation. I haven’t watched the video in some time and I have to say it looks better than ever. It takes me back to my basement and bedroom bands that would always fall back on this cut because everybody knew it and everybody could play it. That’s the true genius of this classic!
